Most searches go wrong
in the brief.

Not in the sourcing, not in the interviews. In the half page written before any of it started. Six questions, ten minutes, and you have a brief you can read in five minutes, edit lightly, and act on.

Working brief

Before you open the search.

We will ask where the business is right now, which seat you are filling, what success looks like in twelve months, what kind of leader flourishes with you, what the hard constraints are, and the one thing that will never make it into the job description.

Answer in your own words. Skip anything you would rather discuss in person. Nothing is stored: the brief appears on your screen, and you decide whether to copy it, send it to us, or close the tab.

Drafting your brief

Reading what you wrote. Putting it in order. About thirty seconds.

Draft search brief

Yours to edit.

This is a draft, not a contract. Change anything that is not right, and treat any line marked for intake as the agenda for our first conversation.

Nothing here is stored. ELiN keeps no copy of your answers or your brief. Emailing it to yourself opens your own mail programme; sending it to us is a separate, deliberate choice.

Something went wrong.

The brief could not be drafted just now. Try again in a moment, or write to us directly.
