Commercieel Directeur

Covebo Productie & Logistiek is the largest business within House of Covebo, part of House of HR, one of Europe's larger HR groups. With revenue of around €370 million, more than twenty branches, over 400 clients and roughly 6,000 people at work every day, this is a commercial role of real scale.

As Commercieel Directeur you sit on the Management Team and hold end responsibility for the commercial direction and growth of Covebo Productie & Logistiek. You build on an organisation where sales, margin and client development grow structurally stronger, and where commercial opportunities are captured faster and better.

The market Covebo operates in demands a lot. High volumes, thin margins, large national clients, complex tenders and constantly shifting staffing needs mean commerce here touches the performance of the whole business. You see the bigger picture, and you know where to step in to accelerate results.

Your new role

You lead the central sales team and stay closely connected to the commercial teams and branches across the country. Marketing sits within your remit too. Together with the MT you set the commercial priorities and turn strategy into concrete results.

That takes more than running sales. Covebo is deliberately decentralised, and much of the commercial responsibility sits with the branches themselves. So you give direction without pulling everything towards you. You make clear where Covebo is heading, create focus and rhythm, and win people over on substance, trust and results.

You are responsible for:

• setting and delivering the commercial strategy;
• sustainable revenue growth, margin improvement and market share;
• professionalising the commercial organisation and making it scalable;
• developing sales leaders and commercial teams and raising their performance;
• national accounts, strategic partnerships and complex tenders;
• clear commercial KPIs on acquisition, revenue, margin, conversion and client retention;
• making better use of data, digitalisation and AI in the commercial process;
• strengthening the link between national sales, marketing and the branches;
• helping set the course and development of Covebo Productie & Logistiek as an MT member.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced commercial leader with a proven record of growth in an organisation of scale and complexity. Someone who can not only build a commercial strategy, but actually make it work.

You are strong on numbers and results, and you understand that lasting commercial growth is ultimately delivered by people. You make sharp choices, keep the organisation on its toes, and connect different teams, regions and interests.

You bring:

• broad commercial experience, several years of it at director or MT level;
• a demonstrable record in both revenue growth and margin improvement;
• experience leading and developing commercial teams;
• experience with large clients, complex sales processes and tenders;
• the ability to professionalise and digitalise commercial organisations;
• a higher vocational level of work and thinking;
• excellent command of Dutch and English.

Experience in staffing, secondment, recruitment, logistics or production is valuable, but not a hard requirement. What matters most is the scale and complexity you have operated in, and what you have demonstrably achieved there.
